The royal couple - Prince William and Kate Middleton - was the guest of honour for this year's Bafta awards and they were quite embarrassed when they entered Royal Albert Hall.

Revealing what she learned about William and Kate's parenting skills, Anne said: "They get down on the child's level and speak to them eye to eye to make their child feel empowered".

During the ceremony, William - who is the the president of the British Academy Film Awards - presented the Fellowship award to film editor Thelma Schoonmaker.

Kate made an angelic appearance wearing a white, one-shoulder McQueen gown and glittery Jimmy Choo heels.

Queen Colman (who beat out both Lady Gaga and Glenn Close for the evening's honor of Best Leading Actress), now reigns as The Favourite's temperamental Queen Anne, but soon (though Netflix is keeping the deets close to its chest), she'll be welcomed into homes worldwide as The Crown's Elizabeth II, a hand-off from acclaimed predecessor Claire Foy. Actress Olivia Colman, who played the role of Queen Anne in The Favourite, won Best Actress while her co-star Rachel Weisz won Best Supporting Actress.
