Lady Gaga defends Cardi B against trolls

Another big female victor was Cardi B. The 26-year-old Instagram personality-turned-pop superstar became the first woman to win the Grammy for Best Rap Album.

Cardi B, who has been met with her fair share of criticism and trolling in the past did not like the way people reacted to her win.

Posting on Twitter, Gaga wrote: "It is so hard to be a woman in this industry".

Using explicit language, the rapper struck back at those who said her "Invasion of Privacy" album wasn't worthy of the award.

Minaj's devoted fan base rose up in fury at the diss, and she let them know she and her label would be pulling out of BET's awards show this summer and events around it. So, what happened between then and the night of the Grammys, during which Offset even stood by Cardi as she accepted the "Best Rap Album" honor on stage?

"I have been taking a lot of shit today, I'm seeing a lot of bullshit today and I saw a lot of shit last night".

Cardi B has yet to comment officially following her video - she's no doubt having some well deserved rest, enjoying her success, and spending time with her family. Before deleting the account, Cardi shared a video of herself clapping back at those criticising her.

"I'm sick of this shit".

During the 45-second clip, Offset can be seen flexing his eye-watering jewellery and talking to his children, before debuting the actual footage of his wife Cardi B giving birth to their daughter Kulture Kiari. "Motherfuckers love me, bro". "Didn't go to sleep in my own bed sometime for four days straight pregnant!" Number 1 album as well. I have 4 songs that couldn't make the album cause my nose was so stuffy bro I was huffy puffy.

She also has two Grammy nominations from the 60th Grammys, for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for her hit track Bodak Yellow. And every chart that there was, my album was always top ten.
