After much waiting and anticipation, the first Nintendo Direct of 2019 has been announced via the official Nintendo website. On February 13, 2019, people will be able to watch a 35 minute video going over some of Nintendo's new games.
Pour yourself a cup of coffee and snuggle into your comfiest chair, because at 10PM UK tomorrow night (Wednesday 13th February) we're getting a brand new Nintendo Direct presentation.
Whether this is the long-awaited reveal of the new mainline sequel for the Switch is unclear but it's interesting that the rumours make no mention of Animal Crossing or Luigi's Mansion 3, which may mean they're coming out later in the year. Reportedly, tomorrow's Direct will include news on a Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Switch, and possibly, a Super Mario Maker 2 announcement.
Nintendo said to also expect additional information on its upcoming Switch titles.
Last year Game Freak and the Pokemon Company revealed Pokemon Let's Go at an event exclusively dedicated to the Switch game - outside of a Nintendo Direct.
So far the only confirmed game featuring in the Nintendo Direct for February 2019 is the new Fire Emblem.
