Jose Mourinho reacts to Zinedine Zidane’s return at Real Madrid

A section of Chelsea players have expressed their fear Eden Hazard may dump the club for a move to Real Madrid in the summer.

There has been fresh speculation linking Hazard with a possible move to Real Madrid this summer after the Spanish club re-appointed Zinedine Zidane as their manager this week.

Hazard could feature tomorrow for Chelsea when they travel to Ukraine for their Europa League round of 16 second leg away to Dynamo Kiev, following last week's 3-0 home win.

Zidane's return is likely to spark a summer reconstruction of the senior team at Valdebebas, and Marcelo believes there is a tradition at the club with regards to how new players are received. I did not speak to Eden about Zidane.

Chelsea's confidence of keeping Hazard has been receding for months, with the Belgium worldwide having made no attempt to hide his attraction to Madrid while spurning Chelsea's attempts to reopen talks over a contract extension that would make him the highest-paid player in their history. "You know very well my opinion - I only want players that want to play for Chelsea".

However, Chelsea FC legend Drogba has insisted that he would love to see Hazard stay at Stamford Bridge and doesn't see why the Belgian playmaker would have to leave.

"I think it's ideal with the fantastic things he's done in recent years", Mourinho told El Chiringuito, as reported in Spanish media outlet Marca.

"I never talked about whether I would want to return to the position and I think, in my opinion, this is a flawless solution".
