Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie 'officially single'

In January, Jolie, 43, and Pitt, 55, were seen meeting together twice at attorneys offices in Beverly Hills as they work on the details of their divorce. Recently Brad voiced his frustration by pointing the blame at Angelina Jolie for dragging the proceedings, to which Angelina Jolie's people responded by pointing out that she indeed wants the proceedings to be slow and fair.

Jolie moderated the special screening event, which included a Q&A with the movie's director Chiwetel Ejiofor and The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind author William Kamkwamba.

On Thursday, they went to the MoMA for the opening night screening of Prune Nourry's documentary, Serendipity. They are said to have gone to the Richard Rodgers Theatre, where they saw Hamilton.

Her decision triggered a bitter custody dispute during which Pitt was investigated and cleared of child abuse, and both sides accused each other of trying to manipulate media coverage in their favor. In addition to working out the finalization of their divorce, they're working out the finalization in the custody agreement for their six children, Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 10.

It comes after Angelina admitted that her relationship with the Meet Joe Black star had become "bad".

The legal process is named a bifurcation and permits a separating pair to be named single even though the divorce is still not finalized.

As you may remember, Angie and Brad filed for divorce back in 2016, after just two years of being married, although before that, they dated for eight!

In 2014 they married in a small ceremony at their chateau in the South of France.
