Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel have taken jibes at Alia Bhatt and her mother Soni Razdan

On Tuesday, Soni Razdan broke her silence using social media over the constant attacks of Kangana and her sister Rangoli on Bhatt family and questioning their nationality. The tweets that started with attacking Soni Razdan and Alia Bhatt by Rangoli, has taken an ugly turn where Rangoli, in a series of tweets, revealed about the bad behaviour of former's husband Mahesh Bhatt towards Kangana Ranaut. Daughter over and over again. Apart from the character of course.

Post the tweet, Kangana's sister Rangoli Chandel came to her defense and posted back to tweets. In a series of angry tweets, Rangoli has lashed out Soni Razdan. Secularism and democratic principles are values and it's those that I stand for.

For those who are unaware, Alia Bhatt can not vote in India as she doesn't have an Indian passport. My father is Indian.

Even Alia's Highway co-star Randeep Hooda chimed in on Twitter today.

Actor Randeep Hooda too supported Alia and without naming anyone wrote a cryptic tweet which read: "Dearest @aliaa08 I'm so glad you are not letting the opinions of very occasional actors and chronic victims affect you and your work. kudos to you for your continued efforts to outdo yourself". To which, Alia retweeted the message and wrote, "Randy", backed by multiple super-happy emojis. Randeep took to Twitter to call Kangana Ranaut out.

This isn't the first time Bhatt family is targeted by the "Queen" actress or her family, recently Kangana called Alia Bhatt's performance in Gully Boy "mediocre" and also said that it's embarrassing for her to be compared with Alia.

However, on being asked about Kangana and Rangoli's hate for Alia, the actor's mother Soni Razdan told Pinkvilla, "I do not wish to be drawn into this madness". "But you guys cant even handle me she will toh set this place on fire".
