She celebrated her engagement with an intimate garden party alongside fiancé Cooke Maroney over the weekend.

The actress' stylists, Jill Lincoln and Jordan Johnson, posted a picture of the bride-to-be on Instagram, writing: "Here she comes!"

Cooke has yet to join Jennifer on the red carpet, but he was in attendance at the NY premiere of The Favourite in September, when the couple rubbed shoulders with her pal Emma Stone and exes Darren Aronofsky and Nicholas Hoult, who appeared in the period film.

Friends and family in attendance couldn't fathom just how lovely Jennifer Lawrence looked and are just as excited to see how she looks when she finally walks down the aisle.

With the couple just celebrating their engagement with close family and friends present, it is only a matter a time before they are walking down the aisle. He's smart and amusing and I think really keeps her on her toes and he doesn't treat her like a celebrity like the other boyfriends did.

Although the couple is keeping their wedding date to themselves, many of us are certain the nuptials could definitely happen in the next few months.

One source said: "When they were introduced last spring, the timing was ideal because they were both single, and just enjoying an evening out with friends". They both come from close-knit families.

Apparently it was a case of love at first sight - and now we're ready for a Hollywood wedding!

"They got engaged because they both just knew it was right", the source added. "They both want their wedding to be in NY mostly because they feel like NY is the place that brought them together and it works for their family and friends".

A representative for Jennifer confirmed the pair's plans to Wednesday shortly after the 28-year-old was spotted sporting a large diamond on her left ring finger as she and her beau celebrated over dinner at top Manhattan restaurant Raoul's.
