Abdullah Abd al-Aal, 24, was shot in the stomach on Friday near the fence east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, Gaza's health ministry said, in the first protests there since a deadly flare-up last week, Al Jazeera reported.
The Gaza Health Ministry said that since the start of the weekly Great March of Return protests previous year, the Israeli army has killed more than 275 demonstrators and wounded 17,000 others, who were officially referred to hospitals.
Three Palestinian fishermen were detained by Israeli naval forces off the coast of Gaza Strip on Saturday, a local official said.
Four children and a paramedic were reportedly among the injured.
Both had been closed on May 4 when Israel launched massive air and artillery strikes on Gaza killing 25 Palestinians, mostly civilians.
Egypt, Qatar and the United Nations succeeded to mediate a truce between Israel and Gaza militant groups, which included the armed wings of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, ending two days of military escalations between the two sides.
As part of the ceasefire agreement, Israel on Friday lifted its ban on Gaza fishing boats, Israel's navy and Gaza's fishing union said.
The United States' Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt blasted the UN Security Council Thursday for "rehashing exhausted talking points" about Israel and urged them to support the Trump administration's upcoming Mideast peace plan between Israelis and Palestinians.
The Palestinians pre-emptively rejected any U.S. peace proposal amid concerns it would fall far below their hopes for an independent state in the West Bank, east Jerusalem - which they want as their capital - and Gaza, lands captured by Israel in the 1967 war.
"We genuinely hope both the Israelis and Palestinians will take a real look at our vision for peace when we release it, before any unilateral steps are taken", he said.
