Huawei Nova 5 Pro officially exists, posts impressive Antutu score

Huawei has scheduled the launch of its Nova 5 series in China on June 21, but thanks to a series of leaks we already know quite a few things about both these smartphones.

Ahead of the launch, alleged hands-on photos of the Nova 5 Pro surfaced online, IndiaShopps reports. The Nova 5, as mentioned above, will be powered by a Kirin 810 chipset. Turns out that it's not much different from the latest hands-on photo of the Nova 5 Pro. The rear side of the smartphone is made out of glass and it lacks a fingerprint reader. The post adds that a 48-megapixel AI camera will also make its way to the Huawei Nova 5. Rumors are rife that the Nova 5 Pro is equipped with an OLED screen that is integrated an in-display fingerprint sensor. The 3C certification of the phone had revealed that the Nova 5 Pro will be shipped with a 40W rapid charger.

The Nova 5 Pro looks better than the predecessor in terms of design, being capable to "shine" outwardly from the camera module area. It carries support for full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.

A new leak reveals that a Kirin 810 chipset will power the upcoming Nova 5 series.

The Nova 5 Pro will be featuring a quad camera setup featuring a 48MP + 16MP + 2MP + Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. It is expected to release in two variants: 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage and 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The handset is expected to house a 3,500mAh battery. The information was announced in a Weibo post by He Gang, head of Huawei's smartphone division.

The Nova 5 series by Huawei will come with dedicated night mode.
