In a video posted on Twitter Wednesday morning, an irate man in a NY state bagel shop gets tackled and punched by a fellow customer after picking a fight with several people trying to defuse the situation. "Nobody", one of the two women asks incredulously.

The incident took place at a Bagel Boss on Wednesday, leading the bagel establishment to trend on Twitter.

The man then gets even more upset and goes on a rant about his struggles with online dating. "Why are you smiling at me?" he allegedly said, with Patty adding "he started saying it's because I'm short and nobody wants me".

"Why is it okay for woman to say "Oh you're 5-feet" on dating sites, 'You should be dead.' That's okay?" the man slams his newspaper on the ground as he speaks.

When another male customer tries to get the man to calm down, that's when he really gets toasted.

When it was pointed out to him that no one in the Bay Shore, Long Island bagel store, Bagel Boss, said that to him, he replied, "Women in general have said it on dating sites".

"You're degrading women, why is that OK?" one of the women is heard asking him, immediately causing him to become enraged about his personal dating life - or lack thereof.

"Shut your mouth! You're not God, or my father, or my boss", the angry man said while pointing in the other man's face. "I'm not scared of you, pal". "OK then attack me", the man says.

And so he did. In footage captured during the incident, he can be heard complaining about being treated poorly because he's short and how women apparently don't want to be with him. The man takes his frustrations out on the female employees in the latter half of the incident. Though being "vertically challenged" is not an automatic death sentence for a man, an article by The Conversation reveals "Eight Reasons Why Short Men Come Up Short," including in depth statistics that show they tend to be seen as "less powerful", therefore tend to be "poorer", and of course lest we forget, "women prefer taller men".

A Long Island viral video shows a man ranting against women who call him short on dating websites in a freakish exchange which ultimately led to him being tackled inside a bagel shop. On Wednesday, he tweeted that anyone who mentions the video at Bagel Boss gets a free mini bagel.
