"So my mama called and ordered me a cake telling them how much I loved Moana".

Tammy Davis had asked the bakery to make a cake with Moana on top, in honor of her daughter Kensli's favorite character, for her 25th birthday party over the weekend in Milledgeville, Georgia.

But Ms Davis claims the bakery, a local Dairy Queen restaurant, misunderstood her mum.

It seemed that the cake designer was convinced of the cannabis theme, since the green pony had bloodshot eyes.

"I think they thought that she said "marijuana" because we are from south Georgia and kind of have an accent. That ice cream cake was still good though".

Tammy wanted the cake to feature her daughter's favorite Disney character, Moana, who is pictured above in the 2016 animated film.

Ms Davis later told United States news outlet WMAZ she believed the bakery misunderstood her mum because of her accent.

Ms Davis claims Moana was misunderstood for marijuana.

The employee apologized and offered to make another one.

The Facebook post generated a lot of laughter on social media, with people referring to several instances when bakers misheard names and wrote amusing things on the cake.

Kensli's post has been shared 11,000 times - with social media users finding the mix-up as amusing as she did.

Another added it's the "funniest thing" she's ever seen.
