- Leland Chapman, the son of Dog the Bounty Hunter, was reportedly hospitalized in Alabama this week due to an injury sustained while he was on a manhunt mission with his father - who was back at work for the first time after his wife's death.
Beth announced she had been diagnosed with Stage 2 throat cancer in September of 2017, but beat the disease.
"Duane 'Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman (L) and Beth Chapman attend the Vettys Presidential Inaugural Ball at Hay-Adams Hotel in Washington, on January 20, 2017.
And while he's had no suicidal thoughts, the 66-year-old said he's definitely "ready" to join his wife wherever she is.
"I'm definitely going to take away how determined and how passionate she was", Bonnie Chapman told Entertainment Tonight. This is not possible. And then I wake up in the middle of the night and I see her and it doesn't register that [it] ain't her.
"I hugged him and I felt a connection like, boom, instantly brotherhood, right", Chapman explained.
It was the second memorial for the late reality star, who was previously honored with a June ceremony in Waikiki, Hawaii, the state where Beth died.
Chapman and her husband Duane "Dog" Chapman starred in the A&E show until it was canceled in 2012. 'She said "How are you going to make it without me?" You're out of your mind.' I said, 'Honey you might have to do chemo and stuff, ' " Dog recalled.
She also shared a touching tribute to her mother, writing: "I'll never forget you, mama". They said she could do chemo though, they said she would have to sit at home while Dog films the show. Because she always wanted people to know what happened if they go on her dark side'.
"She didn't let anybody see that, and that's simply because of the profession she was in", Pollack said.
"I walked through the closet the other day and I smell her", he tearfully said.
"I never imagined I would lose my mom at 20". And I'm one of them. "You were strong for everyone, and you taught me it's okay to let go".
"I'm so thankful she was able to share her life and our family's life with all of you".
