After Hrithik received enormous appreciation from the film industry, his fans and audiences have become even more eager to watch Vikas Bahl's directorial.
Earlier today, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the micro-blogging site to share the official collection of the film. Big releases like Super 30 tend to make up to 40 per cent more on Saturdays and sustain the uptick on Sundays as well. Biz picked up at metros/urban centers [Mumbai and South specifically] towards evening. The fact that the film worked in the metropolis, and especially in Mumbai and suburbs, but remained boring in most of the mass pockets is disappointing. Even Karan Johar's romantic comedy Student of the Year 2 had made slightly over ₹11 crore on its first day. It must be mentioned that Kabir Singh managed one of the highest openings on Day 1 with its collection of Rs 20.21 crore. Sustaining and proving its mettle on weekdays crucial. Directed by Vikas Bahl, also starring Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi amongst others, this is how the movie is trending in terms of the morning occupancy. The film is based on the life of Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar, who is a genius in maths and with his skills he is known in Bihar.
Super 30 is competing at the box office with Kabir Singh, which refuses to slow down and has earned a total of Rs. 252.14 crores. Salman Khan's Bharat is still towering the list after collecting Rs 42.30 crores on its first day.
