Bindi says who will walk her down aisle

She captioned it, "Thankful to have such a handsome family to hold my hand and share life's most magical moments ❤️".

I've been watching and writing about Bindi Irwin since she was just a little hatchling wearing a mini khaki safari suit, who I mistakenly believed was the most unlikely of "stars".

Bindi also included a picture with Robert and her soon-to-be husband, Chandler Powell, and revealed her brother will be stepping into Steve's place and walking her down the aisle.

Bindi Irwin with her parents, "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin and Terri Irwin, and a baby crocodile at Australia Zoo in Queensland in 2002.

Bindi Irwin has taken to social media to share a heartfelt note to her late father Steve Irwin, revealing that her brother Robert will be the one to walk her down the aisle.

"The most important thing is getting married here at Australia Zoo because this is where I feel closest to Dad", she said.

Beside him knelt Terri matching in pink with her daughter.

While a third said: "I'm so emotional right now". I certainly did not feel like I was trying to coax your average 9-year-old into a conversation.

Bindi also confirmed the location of the wedding, and the special connection it has with her father.

But to be honest I doubted Bindi and the extended Irwin family would remain in the spotlight, given how fickle fame and the public's memory can be. Bindi was 8 years old at the time.

Last month, Irwin announced that she and Powell had gotten engaged on her birthday, sharing the news on Twitter.

Bindi recently admitted the moment in which Chandler proposed was "bittersweet" because her father wasn't there to "get excited" about their impending wedding.

Days ago, she wrote how thankful she was for her family and shared a photo with her fiancé, her mom and her brother.
