Tom Brady is reportedly staying in New England for a little longer.
The future Hall of Fame quarterback agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension with New England on Sunday, a source told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Before the new contract was agreed to, Brady was scheduled to make $15 million and carry a $27 million cap hit in 2019. His new deal will take him through the 2021 season.
"I appreciate this team and the opportunity it gave me in 2000", Brady said Wednesday. Not a sight many Patriots fans want to see. "I play for a great coach in coach Belichick, and (offensive coordinator) Josh (McDaniels) and I have a great working relationship. Hopefully we can keep it going".
Birthday boy Tom Brady was the center of attention Saturday, and Rob Gronkowski was among the many to get in on the fun.
