In July of 2017, former National Basketball Association player Sebastian Telfair was pulled over in Brooklyn because one of his headlights was out.

The officers said they smelled burning marijuana inside the auto, prompting them to order the passengers out and arrest them before searching the vehicle.

Former Portland Trailblazer player Sebastian Telfair will have a few years to think about what he did after he received a 3-year sentence for driving around Brooklyn with a loaded gun.

"I am 34", Telfair said in court.
