According to TMZ, Hart will stay for at least a week at the rehabilitation facility, where he is receiving "intense" physical therapy. Despite the near-death experience, Kevin is said to be in good spirits and has apparently adopted a positive attitude of "I'm lucky to be alive", according to TMZ.
The driver, 28-year-old Jared Black, also suffered back injuries and was hospitalized following the crash, while fellow passenger, 31-year-old personal trainer Rebecca Broxterman, only complained of pain.
On Monday, The Rock filled in for Hart who had been scheduled to be the first celebrity guest on Kelly Clarkson's new daytime chat show on NBC. "Thank God. I am glad, he is fine and he is awake", Parrish said.

A spokesperson for his manufacturing company beforehand informed E! News in a statement that Hart is "expected to have a full recovery very soon".
Yahoo Entertainment reached out to a publicist for Hart, but did not immediately receive a response. A representative for the California Highway Patrol told ET on Tuesday that they are doing a thorough mechanical inspection of Hart's Plymouth Barracuda and writing up the report will take about two weeks.
