In Huawei FreeBuds 3 includes a processor Kirin A1, which is the first in the world to have received the support of Bluetooth (BLE) 5.1 application of "innovative two-channel connection" with the minimum delay and low power consumption. Huawei claims that the FreeBuds charge 100% faster than AirPods 2 or 50% faster if they're charged wirelessly.
One of the potentially exciting features for the new earbuds is that they offer an active noise canceling feature.
Unlike earlier Bluetooth headphone designs, where a source device - such as your phone - connects to one earbud, and then that in turn connects to the other earbud, the Kirin A1 allows a phone to pair directly to each of the FreeBuds 3 earbuds.
Huawei has launched the company's next generation truly wireless earbuds at IFA 2019 - the FreeBuds 3. Compared to other chips on the market, the chip uses a synchronous dual-channel Bluetooth data transmission technology with lower latency and lower power architecture to help provide optimal performance. In addition, the chipset, combined with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), actively assists in eliminating the background noise and allows for uninterrupted and immersive music experience. The earbuds and case come in Ceramic White and Carbon Black color variants. The feature can be controlled by double-tapping on the left earbud. You can just simply lay down the case on a wireless charging mat for quick wireless charging, or can even use Huawei smartphone for reverse charging. Since the earbuds have low latency, they are flawless for gamers.
The Chinese tech giant has declared the FreeBuds 3's headphones themselves should be able to deliver fours hours of listening on a single charge. Internally, Huawei has packed several technologies into FreeBuds 3.
