The Ottawa Senators have acquired Vladislav Namestnikov from the New York Rangers in exchange for a 2021 fourth round draft pick and defenceman Nick Ebert. Namestnikov will be an unrestricted free agent after this season. For his career, he has 66 goals and 92 assists in 362 games. He spent parts of three campaigns with NY after being acquired from the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Ryan McDonagh deal in February 2018.

In 362 career National Hockey League games, the 26-year-old has 66 goals and 92 assists. He's spent the last two seasons playing for HC Slovan Bratislava of the Kontinental Hockey League and Orebro HK of the Swedish Hockey League. The 25-year-old native of Livingston, New Jersey, was a seventh-round pick by Los Angeles in the 2012 National Hockey League draft.

A former first-round draft pick, Namestnikov came to the Rangers in the 2018 trade deadline deal that sent Ryan McDonagh and J.T. Miller to the Lightning.
