In the podcast, female hosts Nazanin Mandi and Nadia Moham laugh at Harris's comments, jokingly referring to his daughter as a "prisoner".

"I will say, as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact", he said of the long-debunked method of checking virginity.

If you can bear to read it, T.I. confessed that he manages to control his daughter's sexual privacy by having her sign away her medical information. "He's adore, "You appreciate sir, I no doubt dangle to, in clarify to share recordsdata" - I'm adore, 'Deyjah they desire you to signal this so we are able to share recordsdata". I'm so sorry you have to deal with this and your personal business being aired publicly! "Just check the hymen, please, and give me back my results expeditiously.'" The comments have since been edited out of the podcast.

"I will say as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact", the Rhythm + Flow star, 39, said during the "Ladies Like Us" podcast on Wednesday (November 6).

T.I. has not furthered made or responded to the controversy generated from his remarks.

TI's story about taking his virgin daughter to the gynecologist annually to have her hymen checked faced criticism.

In response, he told the doctor: "Look doc, she don't ride no horses, she don't ride no bike, she don't play no sports".

When the convo turned to parenting and if he's had the "sex talk" with his daughters. He went on to point to that after he accompanies Deyjah to her gynecologist appointments, he ensures that she assessments off the sphere on her scientific make that enables the doctor to share recordsdata with him. Others pointed out the double standard in T.I.'s attitudes towards his daughter's sex life and his own (he was famously caught cheating on his wife) and that of his 15-year-old son, who admitted on the family's reality show T.I.

The hosts of a podcast that caused a viral uproar apologised for how they reacted to United States rapper TI's story about taking his virgin daughter to the gynecologist annually to have her hymen checked.

Well, the teen kind of sort of addressed the controversy on her Twitter account Tuesday - and while she didn't say much, it's pretty obvious she's humiliated about the whole thing.

While we applaud T.I. saying he has had the "sex talk" with his daughters and educates them on related matters, we reject his idea that he should involve himself so heavily in his daughter's intimate business and that he places a value on his daughter's virginity to such an extreme.

The practice of "virginity testing" was condemned by the World Health Organization, U.N. Human Rights and U.N. Women in 2018 when the organizations issued a statement demanding the elimination of the practice.

OK, so it didn't seem like T.I. was kidding when he opened up about all of this. "Who wants a virgin?"
