"I just felt I wouldn't be losing much". The singer's finest pal Robyn Crawford, who also alleges that she when experienced a passionate, sexual relationship with Whitney, has occur forward with tales that she's sharing in her memoir A Song for You: My Lifestyle With Whitney Houston.

On the day Houston married Brown, Crawford says that Murphy called and told her she was making a mistake, but "she pressed ahead" and married the former New Edition singer.

Despite being as close as they were, their physical intimacy came to a halt before Houston became a celebrity. Houston, nearly 17, invited Crawford, 19, over to her house in Newark, New Jersey one day where they "talked and talked". And that evening was the night that we touched. Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, had publicly indicated that her daughter was straight but she wouldn't support her being gay.

According to PEOPLE, Crawford disclosed what it was like to be by Whitney's side as she exploded into superstardom. "Whitney was a lovely friend".
