Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury series joins Super Smash Bros. Ultimate today

Nintendo has announced its newest Super Smash Bros.

As promised, today Nintendo and Sora Ltd published a deep dive into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament, titled 'The Road to Becoming Fighting King, ' and it'll run for three days starting Friday.

According to Nintendo, Bogard's move set "bridges the classical arcade fighting gameplay" of the Fatal Fury series with the game's play style.

The graphic posted alongside the announcement features the latest DLC fighter, Fatal Fury's Terry Bogard, along with Little Mac, Kirby, and Ryu each looking primed for battle. Ultimate. This unique lineage means Terry plays unlike any other fighter on the roster, giving players new opportunities for creative expression through his unmistakable fighting flair.

The character's introduction also brings the addition of the new King of Fighters Stadium stage and 50 music tracks from an assortment of SNK titles. Finally, a free update for Super Smash Bros.

Bogard can be downloaded as part of the Challenger Pack 4 for $5.99.

The Fighters Pass includes DLC fighters Joker, Hero, Banjo and Kazooie, and Terry, along with an unannounced fifth fighter and associated stages for each.
