New Leaks Spill Details About the Samsung Galaxy S20

But despite the sheer size of the screen on paper, Samsung has managed to keep things relatively compact thanks to the extra tall 20:9 aspect ratio that it's now employing.

It is speculated that the Galaxy S20 will be arriving with a display of around 6.2 or 6.3 inches.

The news of the S20 featuring a 120Hz display also comes shortly after OnePlus revealed that it's working on 120Hz screen tech after releasing phones with 90Hz displays in 2019. The display will, of course, be a QHD+ one, with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The fresh report, however, doesn't provide any clarity on that front, though the company could be using a binning solution to provide a lower resolution output.

According to Max Weinbach of XDA Developers, the Galaxy S20 Ultra will retain the SD card slot with support for up to 1TB. The battery has a rated capacity of 4500mAh (typical capacity of 4370mAh), and there's support for 25W fast charging to help you refill that battery more quickly.

None of these are surprises if you've been following the leaks, but it's good to see that the mid-range model of this new series of phones has internal components that match up to its 2020 flagship status. The phone ships with AKG USB Type-C earbuds. If you switch to WQHD+ resolution, the refresh rate goes down to 60Hz automatically. The report has debunked the rumor and claimed that the S20+ will have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. However, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor does not such lighting. That makes it even bigger than than the Galaxy Note 10+.

Other features such as a Smart Selfie Angle, Single Take Photo, and a Pro Video are also tipped.

The S20 Ultra will be powered by a 5000 mAh battery, with 45W fast-charge giving the phone a full charge in just 74 minutes.

The Galaxy Buds+ is expected to be one of the devices Samsung unveils at its Unpacked event on the 11th February.

Do note that the Galaxy S20+ will not be the largest member of the Galaxy S20 family. In the meantime, it is safe to expect some new rumours surfacing on the Web.
