The announcement was later confirmed with an official statement issued to the band's website.

Gigaton will be released through Universal Music Group International. To give fans the best chance to buy tickets at face value for this tour, Pearl Jam has decided that tickets will be mobile only and strictly non-transferable, except in NY and Colorado, where transferability is required by state law.

Gigaton will serve as Pearl Jam's first album since 2013's critically acclaimed Lightning Bolt. The tour will wrap up mid-summer in Amsterdam where the band will be joined by supporting act White Reaper.

The tour begins on March 18 in Toronto and ends with a two-day stand in Oakland, April 18 to 19.

"Making this record was a long journey", explains Mike McCready.

Pearl Jam perform at Fenway Park on September 4, 2018 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Pearl Jam will be coming to the Valley this spring to promote their upcoming album Gigaton.

A debut single from the album, "Dance of the Clairvoyants", is said to be imminent but hasn't yet been released. "Collaborating with my bandmates on "Gigaton" ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times". The album drops on March 27.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Pearl Jam is returning to Oklahoma City for an April 6 concert at Chesapeake Energy Arena, 100 W Reno.
