Rascal Flatts celebrates 20th anniversary with farewell tour in 2020

The trio of Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney, and Jay DeMarcus announced the upcoming "Farewell: Life Is a Highway Tour".

DeMarcus told CBS This Morning that the band is looking forward to spending the entire year loving on fans and thanking them for their unbelievable career over the last 20 years.

During an appearance on CBS This Morning, band members were vague about their future plans, but clarified that "nobody's sick". The tour will be a bittersweet one, marking their 20th anniversary this year. In the meantime, they're treating their final year together as a "celebration" for their supporters. "The greatest feeling ever, is being told that our music has been the soundtrack to their lives".

The Rascal Flatts announced they will kickoff a farewell tour after performing for 20 years. "Just new chapters, new journeys, and new beginnings", the group said on Twitter.

The band said over the years, they've been honored to hear that their songs have resonated with fans. The tour kicks off June 11th in Indianapolis, and coming as close to eastern Iowa when they perform in Chicago on June 25th.
