Transfer: Chelsea take final decision on signing two EPL stars

Chelsea approach Brighton for Lewis Dunk price

Chelsea 'inquire about Brighton defender Lewis Dunk'

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea won't be using their option to re-sign Nathan Ake from Bournemouth this month.

Having already loaned out two players, including England worldwide Danny Drinkwater, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard looks set to strengthen his side with the acquisition of a new signing.

Ake has been impressive for Bournemouth since he joined the club from Chelsea in 2017.

However, according to Sky Sports, Chelsea has lost interest at the moment and is exploring alternative options before the transfer deadline on January 31.

Tottenham Hotspur may have a free run at reported target Nathan Ake, with reports now suggesting Chelsea have ended their interest.

"There is nothing to answer", Howe said earlier this month when asked if Ake would be on the move. He has since gone on to become one of the Premier League's more established centre-backs and his former club had been tipped to take him back to strengthen their own defence.

Not to mention, WhoScored make him out to be a better performer than both Michael Keane and Mason Holgate this season with an average Premier League score of 6.74, which is only marginally behind Yerry Mina who is on 6.77.

Ake would be a great signing that would add quality and squad depth to Ancelotti's group of players, and I'd personally like to see the Toffees pursue the Cherries defender.
