Fury is no stranger to the WWE Universe having made a splash with the company in the back end of a year ago, wrestling on the Crown Jewel pay-per-view.
The idea behind his flirt with WWE was to grow his United States audience before his upcoming rematch with Deontay Wilder, which will be canceled on February 22nd.
There continues to be a lot of rumors and speculation on pro boxer Tyson Fury returning to WWE. There's no word yet on who Fury might face at WrestleMania.
Stay tuned for updates on Fury's WWE status.
Either way, it appears that any future for Tyson Fury in a WWE ring is tied to how Fury performs against Deontay Wilder next month. Source said his fight at MGM Grand against Deontay Wilder on February 22 was critical to his appearance in Tampa.
It was noted that the ball is in Fury's court to a degree because Vince McMahon doesn't want to throw money at a guy who just lost on PPV.
WWE is believed to have considered a rubber match between Lesnar and Cain Velasquez at WrestleMania.
However it seems that Fury is also looking beyond the Bronze Bomber with talkSPORT's Michael Benson reporting that he is eyeing a match with Lesnar at "Mania" on April 5th. There is plenty of room for something to go wrong!
