Sony Pictures has released a brand new worldwide trailer for their forthcoming action film adaptation of Bloodshot, based on Valiant Comics' series of the same name. The movie is coordinated by David Wilson (in his element directorial debut) and composed by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer. Sony is also pushing forward with Bloodshot, a large-screen version of the Valiant Comics character introduced in the early 1990s. Upgraded with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech murdering machine Bloodshot. The film will be released in cinemas later on in the year. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out of the facility hell-bent on revenge, only to discover that there is more to the conspiracy than he originally felt.

That makes Bloodshot a greater film industry bet than numerous comic book properties, notwithstanding the general ubiquity of motion pictures dependent on comic books.

Sony has released the latest Bloodshot trailer and it's a solid improvement over the first, though the previous did have more plot in it (maybe a bit too much plot, actually).

In March 2012, it was reported that Columbia Pictures had obtained the movie rights to the Valiant Comics character Bloodshot, which would be created by Original Film and Valiant Entertainment. In August 2018, Lamorne Morris was enlisted to play a youthful researcher named Wilfred Wigans.
