Following her decision to step down from royal duties, the Internet rumour mill was rife with speculation that about Meghan Markle could be all set for a comeback in showbiz.

It comes after the Duke of Sussex, 35, was filmed touting his wife's voiceover skills to Disney boss Bob Iger at the United Kingdom premier of Lion King in July.

News of Meghan's documentary comes after The Times confirmed that she had signed a voiceover deal with Disney in exchange for a donation to conservation charity Elephants Without Borders.

Meanwhile "Black Swan" actress Natalie Portman's Disneynature documentary "Dolphin Reef" will premiere alongside "Elephant" on April 3.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are only a few weeks removed from their final engagements as senior working royals-and the duchess already has her next project lined up.

It was described in a short trailer posted online as following the journey of a family of elephants across Africa.

The footage, published by the Mail on Sunday in January, shows the duke and duchess talking to the film's director Jon Favreau as well as one of its stars Beyonce and her rapper husband Jay-Z.

While Meghan and Harry have not spoken publicly about their time in Canada, a source told Us Weekly that she loved her life here.

It was the second clip to emerge from that evening in which Harry highlights Meghan's abilities as a voiceover artist.

Prince Harry pointed to his wife and said: "You do know she does voiceovers?' A surprised Mr Iger replies: "I did not know that", before Harry continues: 'You seem surprised, she's really interested". That's a great idea, ' while Meghan, who was next to Prince Harry, continues speaking to Beyonce.

From April 1, the Meghan and Harry will officially start their new lives away from royal spotlight.
