That assured them of having the best draft lottery odds (18.5 percent chance to land the top pick, 49.4 percent chance of selecting in the top three, can draft now lower than fourth). With an abbreviated season and therefore incomplete standings, one of the many things drawing consideration in the league office is a plan for the framework of the lottery, which of course will work in correspondence with the possible resumption of the season. The 18-year-old posted 35-77-112 totals in 52 games this season with the Océanic. His season is over because the CHL cancelled its season Monday night. "With respect to the Bridgestone NHL Awards, the League looks forward to returning to Las Vegas in the future".

"While today's news is disappointing for fans of hockey in general and those here in Montreal in particular, this is the right decision to make under the circumstances", France Margaret Belanger, executive vice-president and chief commercial officer for Groupe CH, said in a news release. Major League Baseball is reportedly considering skipping its 2020 draft, originally scheduled for June 10-12, in order to save money in what will likely be a shortened season.
