Roman Reigns Reportedly Out Of WrestleMania 36 Match

WrestleMania 36 will be taking place on April 4th and 5th.

But it appears the event has now taken another hit with one of the WWE's biggest names pulling out of the show.

He was then diagnosed with leukemia for a second time in October 2018 as a member of the WWE after the cancer returned, forcing the three-time World Heavyweight Champion to seek treatment once again and take leave. Reigns reportedly told officials that he did not feel comfortable doing the show at the Performance Center during the coronavirus pandemic.

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns has been pulled from his match at WrestleMania 36, according to a breaking news report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet.

Following another battle with leukemia, Reigns came back in February of 2019 to announce he was in remission.

Reigns missed almost five months of action from October 2018 to March 2019 due to his most recent battle with leukemia, which forced him to vacate the WWE Universal championship. There's no word yet as to a replacement for Reigns at WrestleMania, though the match has probably been taped already, as WWE was expected to tape WrestleMania matches Wednesday and today at various settings.

Fightful reported that as of earlier this week, potential main events were still on the table for the show, but had heard as of Thursday, there was a set list and they were finishing up tapings for the upcoming events.
