Google now plans to announce the Pixel 4a on July 13, according to filter Jon Prosser. The device is rumored to come with a $349 price tag in the United States and will be released in two colors, Naked Blue and Pure Black.
Prosser, who runs the YouTube channel "Front Page Tech", had previously predicted the release date of the iPhone SE (April 15) and was spot on, which makes the chances of the Pixel 4a launching on July 13 pretty high. However, it seems like that may not be the case as Prosser's leaks and predictions have nearly always been correct.
This month's most awaited smartphone, Google Pixel 4a, is not coming out.
"We're super committed to it for the long run". The launch was later pushed to June, and now some sources say that the smartphone will be delayed even further, until July. Jon Prosser also "kills" the 5G rumours by saying that the phone will only use 4G connectivity. The Pixel 4a is expected to rival more expensive phones with Google's well-optimized software experience and exceptional camera performance. Google is ready to ship and the "decision is mostly based on market analysis".
Amazon is offering the unlocked 5.6-inch Pixel 3a for $279 right now. Earlier rumors claimed it would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset and come with 6GB of RAM, a 3,080mAh battery and a single, 12.2-megapixel rear camera.
While Google Pixel series gained the appreciation of users especially with its camera, it can not be said that it makes users laugh about processor preference. But the main differentiator between these phones and the Pixel 4a will be the price; Pixel 4 starts at $799, and the Pixel 4a is likely to start at $399. Google might follow a similar approach with the Pixel 4a XL.
