Dr. Dre and Nicole Young are divorcing after 24 years of marriage

After almost a quarter of a century together, Dr. Dre and his wife Nicole Young are close to calling quits, TMZ reports.

Dr. Dre and his wife of 24 years are ending their marriage ... she's filed for divorce.

The couple has two adult children, 23-year-old son Truice and 19-year-old daughter Truly.

Nicole Young - the longtime wife of the Aftermath Entertainment head honcho whose real name is Andre Young - moved to dissolve her marriage to the Beats by Dre co-founder citing irreconcilable differences, multiple reports said on Monday. Prior to Dre, Nicole Young was married to National Basketball Association point guard Sedale Threatt.

Sources close to Nicole say she's never signed a prenup which means she's about to put the beats on Dre's massive cash stash that includes almost a billion in assets.

Dr. Dre and Nicole Young are heading straight out of their marriage. TMZ reported the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, which, if true, could make splitting the hip-hop mogul's multimillion-dollar fortune quite the undertaking.

The lovebirds, who tied the knot in 1996, last appeared in public together at the Tom Ford fashion show in February this year.

Dr. Dre also has four children from previous relationships: daughters Tyra Young and La Tanya Danielle Young as well as sons Marcel and Curtis.

In 2019, Forbes estimated the music mogul's net worth at $800 million, putting him at number 2 on the year's list of wealthiest hip-hop artists.
