SNK and Tencent recently announced a new Metal Slug game for mobile, and it will be developer by TiMi Studios, an incredibly hot Tencent subsidiary that worked on Call of Duty Mobile, and is also now working on Pokémon Unite. While the general manager of TiMi Studios Winco Qin added: "Metal Slug is one of the great arcade franchises and a flawless fit for mobile play".
The title of the game is still unknown, but so far it is known as Metal Slug Code: j. It's said that one of them would be a mobile game with card elements, but there's another Metal Slug mobile game that is still in development.
Meanwhile, a release date, finalised title, and pricing for Metal Slug Code: J have yet to be announced.
Aside from the gameplay reveals, Tencent did not announce when we would be expecting the games to be released on their respective platforms. Among the studio's resume, we also find Call of Duty Mobile.
TiMi Online games has a good keep track of file when it will come to porting typical video clip match franchises to cell, so there is motive to be optimistic if you are a Metal Slug enthusiast.
The trailer for the cellular recreation showcases Metal Slug's trademark side-scrolling shoot-'em-up motion, while with noteworthy adjustments that include things like current graphics, a new ice-thrower weapon, and on-display screen controls.
