Billie Eilish has released her new single my future, an optimistic piano ballad equipped with an Australian-made music video. That is the primary new launch from Eilish since she dropped the movies for "Not My Duty" and "ilomilo" a few months in the past, and her first new tune since she launched her James Bond theme tune "No Time To Die" in February this 12 months.
"My future" is one of Eilish's more positive and softer pieces that focuses on being in love with her future and the future version of herself.
She claimed Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. Lyrically, the track discusses her optimistic view of the future and the happiness she finds in her independence. With the use of dark colors and the solemn look on Eilish's face, the video emphasizes the gloomy feel in the first half of the song.
"We wrote this at the very beginning of quarantine". "And I was like, 'Let's just f**k around with it a little more.' And we finished the song that night, like finished completely". She told them "My whole life I've been told by my parents that, ye know, I'm Irish and Scottish and I'm like 'Okay, yay!'" And if we do that, we should be hopeful and excited for our future.
Finneas, Eilishs songwriting brother, said in an Instagram post: I will forever cherish the rainy days I spent making this song with my sister. "I hope you may all discover that means in it for yourselves". In a while, she declares, "I am in love / With my future / can not wait to satisfy her / And I, I am in love / However not with anyone else / Simply wanna get to know myself".
