On top of some moments that we've already seen glimpse of in No Time To Die, quite a bit of context is given into some of those snippets from the past.
The film's description reads, "Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica".
In the brand new featurette, Academy Award victor Rami Malek dives into how he went about bringing the mysterious Bond villain to life. As Malek explains, it was important for him to make the character "unsettling" while also playing up the fact that Safin is a villain who thinks of himself as a hero. "Safin is a powerful adversary, James Bond must adapt to this". Director Carrie Joji Fukunaga said of the character: "What he wants and is willing to do makes him a very sinister character, both personally Bond and globally".

Of course, we don't really know yet what Safin is "willing to do", because that's being kept secret. It also brings back Ben Whishaw as Q, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny and Jeffrey Wright as Central Intelligence Agency agent Felix Leiter.
"No Time to Die", scheduled to hit the theatres in November, also features actors Lashana Lynch, Lea Seydoux, Jeffrey Wright, Rory Kinnear, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Ana de Armas, Billy Magnussen, Dali Benssalah, and David Dencik.
Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Cary Joji Fukunaga, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge worked on the screenplay, which is based on a story by Purvis, Wade, and Cary Joji Fukunaga.
