Gearbox has officially announced a second season of Borderlands 3 DLC, complete with a second Season Pass. Gearbox says It will be available on across current and next-gen consoles on November 10th. The other part of Season Pass 2 is called The Director's Cut, which is only coming out early next year. The title developed by Gearbox and published by 2K Games will not only be updated for free to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, but will also continue to offer new content thanks to the Season Pass 2, which will add previously unreleased paid DLCs.
This isn't almost as enticing as four brand new planets with additional story themes, but maybe it'll extend endgame play a bit, assisting the long term health of the game.
Although specific gameplay details have not been revealed yet. The individual character pages for Amara the Siren, FL4K the Beastmaster, Moze the Gunner, and Zane the Operative will all be updated with the new skill tree info, once it's been revealed.

As for details on what the Director's Cut will bring, we'll just have to wait a little longer.
As mentioned in the image above, the next-gen version of Borderlands 3 will run at 60 frames-per-second in 4K resolution during single-player and online co-op. And Borderlands 3, on all four consoles, will have vertical split-screen local cooperative play beginning in November, too.
Borderlands 3 launches for Xbox Series X on November 10 and PlayStation 5 on November 12, the same date as the consoles themselves.
