Earlier this week Sony finally unveiled the PlayStation UI and user experience, presenting an 11 minute video that dives into the various new features, the new visual design and other facets of the next-gen console's system software.
Speaking of which, we still do not know when the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will be available for buying in India. In comparison, the Xbox Series X is priced at par with the standard version at ₹49,990. Well, that caused a whole lot of confusion and Sony has now cleared up and clarified how and when they will record your party voice chat. Sony, however, has not yet provided any concrete details about the India launch of the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. However, the Xbox Series S is priced at ₹34,990.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has provided further information on the new voice chat functionality coming to PlayStation 5, which will allow players to report verbal harassment with an up to 40 second-long audio clip of the voice chat in question.
Good news if you live in the United Kingdom, you will get you PlayStation 5 camera, media remote, games and now DualSense controller a week early on November 12th, the same day as the they are released in North America. The Pulse 3D Wireless Headset will cost ₹8,590 and the new HD camera will sell at ₹5,190. With Sony's PlayStation Remote Play app, you can play all of your favorite games on your console, no matter where you are. Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales for instance will cost Rs 3,999 while Demon's Souls will be available for Rs 4,999.
Sony also revealed the pricing of its accessories in India. For reference, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition are initially coming to Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea Mexico, New Zealand, and the United States on November 15. Globally, the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition are scheduled to arrive in the market on November 18.
