Reddit users Rollie Dell Marvel's Spider-Man: The streets of Miles Morales turned out to be named after the late Chadwick Boseman.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales also includes a special dedication to Boseman in its end credits, which some fans noted on social media. 42nd Street - between 1st and 3rd Avenue - has been renamed to Boseman Way.

Boseman is, of course, most widely known for portraying T'Challa, or Black Panther, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"YES! Here's the Easter Egg I was sad no one had found!" A message appears that reads: "In loving memory of a noble king, Chadwick Boseman". His honor, strength, and compassion will resonate with future generations.

Insomniac Games' James Stevenson confirmed to Game Informer that the developer couldn't work things out with the landmark's current owners (it has changed ownership since the development of 2018's Spider-Man).

Chadwick Boseman passed away in August 2020 following a long and silent battle with colon cancer.
